AI and Usage Disclaimer

Legible Home is designed to help homeowners reason more clearly, not to replace appraisals, legal review, engineering judgment, or real bids.

What Legible Home is

Legible Home is a homeowner intelligence product designed to turn messy property context into useful planning guidance, recommendations, and value ranges through our websites, web application, mobile apps, and related services (the "Service"). AI-generated outputs, including value ranges, project recommendations, and property summaries (the "Reports"), are generated using your inputs and public market data, and they are labeled as AI-generated wherever they appear.

What Legible Home is not

The Service and Reports are not a replacement for a licensed appraiser, inspector, contractor, engineer, attorney, or financial advisor. Value ranges are informational only: no physical inspection of your home is performed, and no professional liability is assumed by Legible Home or its sub-processors. Lenders, insurers, and government agencies will generally rely on their own appraisals or assessments.

THE SERVICE AND ALL REPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

The Service and Reports should not be used as the sole basis for major renovation, lending, resale, safety, legal, insurance, or disclosure decisions. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LEGIBLE HOME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON ANY REPORT OR OUTPUT.

Third-party AI processing

Some AI features send property context, uploaded materials, extracted text, images, receipts, project details, and usage metadata to third-party AI and search providers described in the Privacy Policy so those providers can return the requested analysis.

Do not upload material you do not want processed by Legible Home and its service providers. Automated redaction and metadata stripping are safeguards, not guarantees.

How to use Legible Home reports

Treat the output as decision support. Use it to narrow priorities, understand likely upside, and ask better follow-up questions before spending serious money.

Cross-check important recommendations with local bids, qualified professionals, and additional market evidence before committing to major work.

Usage limits and current plan

Legible Home may currently be included at no charge unless stated otherwise. AI analysis, uploads, reports, and other usage may be limited while we scale.

We may introduce paid plans, usage-based limits, or additional paid features in the future. We will disclose material pricing terms before charging you.

Known AI realities

AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, stale, overconfident, or affected by gaps and errors in source documents, public data, market conditions, or user-provided details. Some analyses may complete in directional mode (providing general trend guidance rather than precise estimates) if market data providers are unavailable. Some reports may use substitute or estimated inputs when supporting evidence is incomplete. Outputs produced under these conditions may be less precise and should be weighted accordingly.

If something looks off, flag it through the feedback channel at support@legiblehome.com instead of assuming the output is final.

We may use operational metadata, redacted test fixtures, and error information to improve reliability and evaluate output quality while we scale — we do not use your uploaded documents, photos, receipt images, or raw home context to train third-party AI models. Our Privacy Policy explains privacy, retention, and security practices. Contact privacy@legiblehome.com with any questions.
